SUNFLOWERS BLOOM WHERE THEY ARE PLANTED
He molded and built a small lonely hill that He knew would be called Calvary .
Then He made the seed
that would grow to be thorns that would make His Son bleed.
Then He made a green stem, gave it leaves, and then gave it sunshine and rain, sheltered it with moss.
He grew the tree that He knew would be used to make
the Old Rugged Cross.
the Old Rugged Cross.
Nothing took His life, with love He gave it.
He was crucified on a tree that He created.
With great love for man,
God stayed with His plan,
He grew the tree so we might go free!
With tears in His eyes,
God looked down thru time,
saw Him spat upon, rejected and mocked!
Still He grew the tree
that He knew would be
used to make the Old Rugged Cross!
Nothing took His life,
with love He gave it;
He was crucified on a tree that He created.
With great love for man
God stayed with His plan;
He grew the tree
so that we might go free!!

A Sign of Victory & Triumph!
The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast
heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem .
They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting…
“Hosanna!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed is the King of Israel !”
(John 12:12-15)
(Also sung from King David’s lips in Ps 118:26 over 480 years before)
Palm branches were used in revelry of victory;
they were a sign of triumph and celebration.
We may not have a palm branch to come and place before the Lord,
but we have our voices and our hearts to sing out…
“Hosanna!
Blessed are You who comes in the name of the Lord!
Bless be the King of our lives”
Sing out CELEBRATION of THANKS to our KING JESUS all this week because…
He has entered our lives,
He came from the Father
and died to give us a LIFE of VICTORY!
HE is the sign of TRIUMPH & CELEBRATION!

“COME WITH ME BY YOURSELF TO
A QUIET PLACE”
A QUIET PLACE”
The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, Jesus said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
Mark 6:30-31
In your busy day, in your busy week, Jesus may say to you…
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and
get some rest.”
How often during the week do we stop what we are doing and go to that solitude place and sit and talk to our heavenly Father?
There will always be room beside Him for us to sit with Him and
have rest within His presence.

Let Us Listen to God's Voice Before
We Open Our Mouth!
What would our day, our week be like if we woke every morning and gave our mouth and voice to God? What would it be like if we ask God to cover our thoughts with His love throughout the day? So that only godly things came from our lips.
“Keep your tongue from evil sayings and your lips from speaking deceit.” Ps 34:13
I know we all have done it at some point in our lives; the instant that words are coming from our mouth we are regretting them but somehow they keep flowing. Words of hurt, which pierce the heart and spirit like cactus needles of the one we love, or those we may not know well. Words that cause division within the families, friendships or those who have not yet had the chance to become a friend - and now may be too late.
What if we dedicate our mouths to God each morning to use only for what pleases Him? Doing this we must lay our thoughts and our voices on the alter and pray this prayer…. “O Lord, open my lips only that my mouth will declare Your praise!” Ps 51:15
If we pray before speaking, the Lord will keep our tongues constrained. Jesus took the time to listen to the Father before speaking. Let us all listen to His voice before we open our mouth and voice words that may prick someone’s heart and spirit that causes pain!

Let's Not Live In the Cold Darken Shadows
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father
of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17
In our darker moments,
when life feels cold and darken with shadows of darkness,
our Father in heaven never changes like the shadows
that come and go with the movement of the sun.
He gives us the ‘Gift of Light’ from above
that we can live in the brightness of His Light
and not in the cold daunting shadows!
For where there is light…
There is the ‘LIGHT’ of our LIFE!
