WHETHER SHE's SPEAKING OR TEACHING, most of CJ's presentations comes from the heart of her own personal journeys and how God has delivered her from adversities - she would be quick to tell you that most of the adversities were due to her own poor decisions she made throughout life. Now she shares her "Lessons Learned & Wisdom Gained" to help and lead others toward…

CJ's love for a deeper learning and understanding of the Bible fills her with zest and enthusiasm which is communicated to those who listen to her speak and hear her heart.

IN A BROAD-SPECTRUM, whether CJ is the key speaker, workshop leader, seminar presenter, or teaching a Bible class before a women’s group, she provides the perfect mix of her humorous southern flair, honesty, personal anecdotes, as well as insight into what is dear to her heart… her Savior, Jesus Christ!  It is CJ’s down to earth amusing attitude, her perceptive deliverance of God teachings, along with her unbelievable life stories that holds her audience attention.

CJ has been the founder and director of two Ladies Ministries...The Sheltering Tree Ministries, and now has established, The 'SON'flower Ministry. She also established a Ladies Ministry within her former home church in Lubbock, TX that is still going strong today.
CJ is a Life-Balancing Coach...a one-on-one mentor. This combined with over 25 years of business experience in Real Estate, product sales, and owner of two previous businesses in the past, gives her much experience in communicating her message to those who are before her.

CJ Fortson was the founder and directed the "Sheltering Tree Ministries" for over six years. STM was birthed to help ladies who were grieving the loss of a spouse or going through a divorce; struggling in relationships, in the work place or home life; or just desiring to have a deeper relationship with God.

This ministry helped those who were in need of clothing, food or jobs. CJ and her team guided these ladies to the proper places in the city to receive assistance. The ministry eventually put together a 'clothes closet', and also a 'food pantry' called..."Helen's Pantry"

CJ has a huge heart for those who are in need & hurting, this stemming from her own past personal journeys.

M.O.M. Ministry  

"Mom's On a Mission"  

  Being 'On A Mission' of daily laying our children before the Lord.  

This ministry is about teaching moms, grandmothers, and others the importance of interceding in prayer for their children. Experiencing the ‘POWER’ that comes from Interceding for our Children in PRAYER is a daily highway to Heaven!  The class... "The "POWER IN" Prayer" was written by CJ for this main reason! CJ successfully organized and directed a Ladies Ministry within her church in Texas that is still growing strong within that church and community - the R.E.A.L. Women Ministry.

Becoming a teacher for two years in Lubbock, TX at the Christian Women Job Corp.  CWJC - was one of CJ's heart-lifting experiences. The CWJC equips women for life and employment with basic life skills necessary for self-sufficiency. It is a place where women can develop life skills, set personal, educational and career goals and discover a realistic plan for accomplishing them. CJ taught the class on Personal Development. Teaching the communication skills for job interviewing, proper etiquette for a lady, and everyday communication with God.
